“Foreground Kindness” W/ Cameron Brown

Cameron Brown was born in Memphis, TN and moved to Iowa City to pursue a PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa in 2019. In July of 2020, he was hired as a server/bartender at BlackStone on the east side of Iowa City. Since then, he’s developed his research around emotional labor and reality tv and worked his way up to the management team as BlackStone’s training manager. Cameron’s hobbies include watching reality tv, going out with his friends, and spending time with his two and a half year old dog, Caspian!
